Cato Rolls Out Bare Metal Platform: ‘Like AirBnB for Servers’

Cato Digital recently announced the launch of its bare metal server platform in the Hudson Interxchange (Hudson IX) data center at 60 Street in New York City, which is one of the world’s most connected buildings.

Cato’s bare metal platform is hosted in the Hudson Interxchange (Hudson IX) data center, where it will execute high-density workloads for Neu.ro, an artificial intelligence and machine learning company.

Cato’s bare metal platform uses repurposed servers with rent-on-demand capacity by the hour, day, or month, comparable to an AirBnB for servers. This innovative solution brings software-defined power into the world’s busiest data centers and carrier hotels, like Hudson IX.
